Over 22 years in the recruitment industry specialising in IT/Software and latterly Engineering & Communications.
Following graduation, Mark trained to be a head hunter and enjoyed great success recruiting senior executives up to C Level for SME and FTSE 500 clients alike within the IT, Telecommunications & Broadcast sectors. Having established himself he was soon leading teams, training & mentoring new consultants and setting up a new specialist Executive Search arm for an established specialist recruitment consultancy.
The next phase of Mark’s career saw him take a change of direction with regards to industry specialisation with engineering and communications markets being the focus for over 4 years.
For the past 10 years prior to forming Orbital Resourcing Ltd, Mark has been providing his expertise to a number of recruitment businesses, offering his vast recruiting experience & knowledge, coaching, training & development, route to new markets and gravitas in front of key clients.
Having known Co-founder David Bell for many years, Orbital Resourcing Ltd was born with the onus on utilising Mark & David ‘s philosophy of building quality & strong customer relationships – a commitment to putting our clients first and providing unparalleled customer support, loyalty and most importantly results!
With over 30 years in the software industry, David started in engineering where he designed production lines and early robotics, moving into software development on IBM international systems before moving into systems engineering on IBM platforms.
After David left IBM, he started his own successful software consultancy specialising in the selling, architecting, designing, developing and supporting solutions around the IBM, Microsoft, Oracle and SAP platforms, growing the company to 20 staff and a turnover of £6m.
